Web-Based
On-Demand Support
This
service does not require pre-installing or downloading software.
Only a browser and an internet connection are required to launch
a remote support session which will allow a technician to connect
to your computer and securely share your screen, keyboard and
mouse. You must initiate the connection and you retain control
of your computer. You can disconnect at any time. We cannot
reconnect unless you initialize the connection. All communication
between your computer and ours is encrypted with industry standard
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard
(AES) encryption, the type used for online banking transactions.
Recurring
/ Unattended Support
This
service does require you to download and install the LogMeIn
software (it takes about 2 minutes). With your permission and
password, it gives us the ability to connect to and work on
your computer without you being present, and also to reboot
and reconnect if necessary. As above,connections are secured
using SSL. You retain control and can disconnect or uninstall
the software at any time. You are notified on-screen anytime
a connection is made.
